At Emmanuel, it is our job to ensure your child is working towards skills that are necessary for kindergarten. Research shows that it is important to utilize developmental monitoring to reduce the risk of developmental delays and ensure your child is on track. We want caregivers to increase their understanding of what we look for and assess to ensure your child is meeting their development goals based on their age.
Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center uses Creative Curriculum within the classrooms to engage the children in age-appropriate activities
At Emmanuel we use Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) to see what areas your child has improved, maintained, or has difficulty in so they can individualize instruction.
Conscious Discipline
Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center integrates Conscious Discipline techniques to create a nurturing and structured classroom environment, helping children develop self-regulation and social-emotional skills. Through consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and connection-based strategies, teachers guide students in managing emotions, resolving conflicts, and building strong relationships.
