Pre K Co-Operative Program

The Pre-K Cooperative Program at Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center offers a dynamic, collaborative approach to early childhood education. Designed for children aged 3 to 5, this program provides a nurturing environment where young learners can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our curriculum blends structured learning with play-based activities to foster creativity, critical thinking, and school readiness. Through the cooperative model, we actively engage parents, educators, and the community to create a supportive network that prioritizes each child’s holistic development.

A key feature of our program is the integration of social-emotional wellness, supported by our new dedicated department. This ensures children build resilience, self-awareness, and positive relationships from an early age. Families benefit from opportunities to participate in their child’s learning journey, parent workshops, and access to valuable resources.

Next Steps:

Our Pre-K Co-Operative Program offers high-quality early childhood education at Emmanuel while connecting families with a local charter or elementary school for their child’s continued education. To apply, follow these steps:

1. Research

Choose a Partner School – Families must research and select one of the five participating schools listed on this page. This school will be where your child attends Kindergarten after completing Pre-K at Emmanuel.

2. Apply at School

Apply to the School – Submit an application directly to the chosen school to secure a spot for Kindergarten. Each school has its own application process and deadlines.

3. Emmanuel Application

Complete the Emmanuel Pre-K Application – After applying to your selected school, fill out Emmanuel’s Pre-K application to enroll in our program. You can send it to coop@emmanuelschildcare.org

Once both steps are completed, one of our Family Advocates will contact you when a spot becomes available. We look forward to supporting your child’s early learning journey!

Partner Schools

To apply for Emmanuel’s Pre-K Cooperative Program, families need to first choose one of our partner schools and complete their enrollment process. Each partner school has its own application requirements and procedures, which can be found on their respective websites.
