Emmanuel Head Start Program
Emmanuel is a proud Head Start Facility.
The Emmanuel Family Child Development Center's Head Start Program is a comprehensive child development program for children aged 3 to 5 years old. The program is designed to help prepare young children for success in school and life. The program provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills through play and hands-on learning experiences.
One of the key features of the Head Start Program is its focus on the whole child. This means that the program addresses not only the child's academic development but also their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Children in the program have access to a variety of activities and experiences, including interactive play, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play. This helps children develop a range of skills and interests that will support their success both in school and in life.
Families may determine eligibility for Head Start Services with the Mid-America Regional Council.

Our Head Start Team
James recently graduated from Central Methodist University in the summer of 2020 with a degree in Social Work. James strives to be the role model to kids in our community that he had when growing up with his parents, who both have Doctorates in marriage and family counseling. This encouraged him to get involved in the community and his local church.
