At Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center, we use Brightwheel to keep families informed and engaged in their child’s daily learning. Through the app, you’ll receive real-time updates, messages from teachers, photos, and important announcements. Staying connected to Brightwheel ensures you never miss a moment and helps us maintain strong communication between home and school. Literacy Nights

Literacy Nights at Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center are special events designed to foster a love of reading and learning in our young students and their families. These interactive evenings feature read-aloud sessions, hands-on literacy activities, and take-home resources to support reading at home. Families have the opportunity to engage with their children in fun, educational experiences that build early literacy skills and strengthen the home-school connection. Join us for a night of stories, creativity, and community as we inspire a lifelong love of reading together!

Parent Cafe

Emmanuel Family & Child Development Center’s Head Start program hosts Parent Café, a supportive and engaging space for parents and caregivers of young children. Parent Café is designed to foster meaningful conversations, provide valuable resources, and strengthen family connections within our community.

During each session, parents engage in guided discussions on topics such as child development, positive parenting strategies, stress management, and community resources. The café follows a peer-led format, encouraging parents to share their experiences, learn from one another, and build a strong support system.

Our Parent Café is part of Emmanuel’s commitment to family engagement and early childhood education. We believe that when parents feel empowered and connected, children thrive. The program also provides access to guest speakers, workshops, and hands-on activities to equip families with tools for success.
